CoffeeB – A Capsule-Free Coffee Revolution, Activated In-Store

 

In a market shaped by capsules and convenience, CoffeeB chose a bold direction: a capsule-free coffee system designed with sustainability at its core. Since the brand’s inception and market launch in 2022, Promotion-Tools has been a trusted partner, supporting CoffeeB’s mission to redefine how people experience single-serve coffee, with purpose and without waste.

 

This year, we continue that journey with a broader scope and new ambitions. To support the 2025 product initiatives, including the introduction of two new machines launched at the end of 2024 and several new coffee varieties. CoffeeB once again entrusted Promotion-Tools with a large-scale retail activation campaign across Switzerland.

 

Promotion-Tools is leading the entire rollout across Switzerland, managing logistics, staffing, and campaign tracking. The retail activation is scheduled to take place in 124 stores throughout the year, with a total of 1.394 missions planned. At the current stage, over 460 activations have already been completed, delivering consistent visibility and engagement nationwide.

 

A team of nearly 200 trained promoters is deployed to create meaningful interactions with shoppers, inviting them to discover CoffeeB through live tastings and personal conversation. For this first wave of activations, more than 65.000 coffee portions have been shipped to support sampling efforts. So far, the campaign has generated 19.040 direct consumer tastings and led to the sale of 288 machines, including 65 by a single top performer.

 

Looking ahead, the activation will extend beyond retail, with two mall events and five major public activations (festivals and exhibitions) planned for later this year. Further amplifying CoffeeB’s message and reach.

 

This collaboration highlights how field marketing can bring an innovation to life, not just by explaining it, but by letting people experience it, one cup at a time.
